IFP is proud to announce a new member – Vision Zero Taiwan. A Taiwanese pedestrian rights movement and NGO advocating for road safety and pedestrian rights. They are a 100% bottom-up movement that has raised awareness on pedestrian rights in Taiwanese society since 2023. Working on the basis of legislative reform and the 3Es of Transport they work to promote pedestrian safety and well-being.
They base their work on five main demands:
1. Improve Pedestrian Facilities
2. Reform The Driving Training And Test System
3. Law Enforcement to Protect Pedestrians and sidewalks
4. Rebuilding The Traffic Legal System
5. Vision Zero Taiwan’s Vision Of Zero Death
